The Garden at caSAnosa

There are houses with gardens.

And then there are houses where the garden is part of the experience.

caSAnosa is a detached home surrounded on all four sides by its own property. It features approximately 2,500 m² of fenced-in land, with different areas of lawn, trees, plants, and nooks and crannies that make every part of the property unique.

A space to relax, for children to play, to observe nature, or simply to sit under the pine trees and let time pass.

A country estate for enjoying the outdoors

The property is completely enclosed along its entire perimeter and surrounds the house on all four sides.

This creates a variety of outdoor spaces around the house, each with its own character.

From the lawns to the pine trees, including the ponds, the herb garden, and the fruit trees, the property invites you to discover it little by little.

And there’s no need to plan any special activities.

The garden itself offers plenty of possibilities.

The West Garden

Behind the house, to the west, there is a landscaped area with a lawn and a vegetated slope that leads to another level of land.
Various plant species grow in this area, including a lemon tree, a palm tree, and a chestnut tree.
But there is something particularly interesting about the slope itself.

There, we’ve created an aromatic garden featuring various species of aromatic plants.

It’s one of those little corners that might go unnoticed at first, but that are part of the estate’s character.

A space to linger, observe the plants, and enjoy their scents.

And when in season, the chestnut tree also offers the chance to gather chestnuts.

The ponds and the Japanese fountain

In the southern part of the house, right in front of the barbecue, we find one of the most unique parts of the garden.

On a patch of lawn, there is a pond with several goldfish, connected to a Japanese stone fountain.

The sound of the water creates a particularly pleasant atmosphere in this corner.
Very close by is a second pond.

In the center, an old millstone has been placed in such a way that it appears to be suspended over the water.

It’s one of those details that give the garden its own personality and is well worth discovering as you explore the property.

The barbecue area and the outdoor laundry area

In the southern part of the property, next to the ponds and the garden, is one of caSAnosa’s most frequently used spaces: the covered barbecue area.

Measuring over 40 m² and featuring a roof, it’s a spacious and colorful area designed for enjoying outdoor meals and gatherings, even when the weather isn’t ideal.

And right next to it is a small detail that’s especially practical for those who come to enjoy the coast.

Next to the barbecue, we have an outdoor laundry area that makes it easy to clean clothes and gear used during beach days.

It’s especially handy for swimsuits, wetsuits, and surfing gear, so you don’t have to bring all that clothing and equipment inside the house.

After spending the day at the beach, you can clean and get your gear ready right outside.

It’s a small convenience that’s greatly appreciated when your vacation includes the beach, surfing, and plenty of outdoor activities.

To the north of the house is one of the largest areas on the property.

Here, there is a plot of land covered with pine trees, as well as a large expanse of open land with lawns and grass.

It’s an area that’s especially well-suited for children to have space to play and enjoy the outdoors.

And there are also a couple of features that tend to catch their attention.

Two very different swings

One of the swings is hanging from the branch of one of the pine trees.

The other is much simpler and more traditional: a swing made from a tire.

It doesn’t take much more for the little ones to find their own fun during the holidays.

Fruit Trees

In the northern area, we also find three fruit trees.

When the season arrives, their fruit can be picked and enjoyed right on the property.

And it’s not just the fruit trees that have something to offer.

The chestnut tree also yields chestnuts in season.

These are small details that connect your stay with the natural rhythm of the seasons.

In front of the house

The area in front of the house contains the entrances to the gated parking lot and to the house itself.

There are also lawns here that are part of the property as a whole.

This is the entrance area, but once inside the property, you still feel as though you’re in an open space surrounded by nature.

A Garden for Every Moment

In the morning, you can sit on one of the porches and enjoy the outdoors.

Children can play in the northern area.

In the afternoon, you can visit the ponds or sit under the pine trees.

You can stroll through the different areas of the estate, observe the plants, pick fruit when it’s in season, or simply find a quiet spot to sit.

And from certain areas of the estate, you can also watch pilgrims passing by on the final stretch of the Fisterra-Muxía Way.

The garden changes with the seasons and also changes depending on the time of day.

A garden to enjoy without leaving home

One of the great advantages of staying in a detached house is precisely having your own outdoor space.

At caSAnosa, you can spend an entire day without ever leaving the property.

Have breakfast.

Play.

Read.

Relax.

Enjoy the barbecue.

Watch the fish.

Sit under the pine trees.

Or simply do nothing.

That’s what vacations are for, after all.

💡 Tip from caSAnosa

Take your time exploring the estate when you arrive.

Don’t limit yourself to just the area you can see from the house.

Head over to the ponds, discover the Japanese fountain, find the aromatic garden, stroll among the pine trees, and see what’s growing on the fruit trees.

And if you’re traveling with children, let them be the ones to discover the two swings.

The garden might just end up being one of their favorite spots at caSAnosa.
