The porches face east and west, so we can enjoy the sun at different times of the day.
The front porch, facing east, is where we usually have breakfast.
It has a dining table and chairs, and its orientation allows us to enjoy the early hours of the day and watch the sunrise.
It’s a particularly pleasant place to start the morning in peace, enjoying breakfast as the surroundings of caSAnosa begin to wake up.
The back porch
The west-facing back porch has a different feel.
In front of it is a hillside herb garden with a wide variety of aromatic plants.
